Sojeongbang Falls sits on Jeju Olle Trail Course 6 in Seogwipo, about 570 meters east of Jeongbang Falls. Its name means "the small waterfall next to Jeongbang Falls." Like Jeongbang Falls, it is a coastal waterfall, with water dropping directly from land into the sea.

A local bathing spot

The falls are low in height, and the water is notably cold, which has made the spot popular with nearby residents for water bathing. On Baekjung, the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, there is a local custom of standing under cold water for good health over the coming year, and Sojeongbang Falls is one of the places where this is practiced.

Nearby sites

Sora Castle (Sora-ui-seong) and Sojeongbang Cave are located next to the falls, and Jeongbang Falls lies close by to the west.
