A cliffside walking course in Wonju with a suspension bridge, sky deck, and cable car.

Sogeumsan Grand Valley is the name for a set of connected walking attractions on Sogeumsan (Mount Sogeum) within the Ganhyeon tourist area in Wonju, Gangwon province. It has been listed among Korea's "100 Must-Visit Attractions." The course centers on the Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge, which links two peaks of the mountain, along with a deck trail, a cliffside walkway, a sky tower, and a cable car.

Bridges and walkways

The Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge is 200 meters long, 100 meters high, and 1.5 meters wide, connecting the mountain's two peaks. A deck trail leads on from the bridge through forest. The Sogeum Jando is a 360-meter walkway built into a cliff face 200 meters above ground level. A separate bridge, the Sogeumsan Ulleongdari ("heart-fluttering bridge"), is Korea's longest pedestrian suspension bridge at 404 meters, with a glass section in the middle of its deck. It was crossed by the K-pop group IVE.

Sky tower and cable car

The Sky Tower stands along a steep cliff at 150 meters above ground, giving views of Sogeumsan's rock formations and surrounding landscape. A mountain escalator opened in September 2024, and a cable car opened on February 25, 2025, completing the Grand Valley course. The cable car can carry up to 4,000 people per day, and admission may close early when demand is high. An integrated ticket covers the suspension bridge, deck trail, Sogeum Jando, Sky Tower, and the Ulleongdari bridge. From May to October, the site opens at night with shows and media facade displays.
