About Jin Forest
- Created: November 16, 2022
- Organizers: 500 Jin fans + Seoul Environmental Federation (서울환경연합)
- Purpose: Celebrate Jin’s 31st birthday and honor his climate change advocacy
- Inspiration: Jin’s speech at the 76th UN General Assembly (September 2021) about climate change
Forest Features
- 10 horse chestnut trees planted along the path
- 4 benches for resting and enjoying the forest
- Plaques with Jin’s solo song lyrics and QR codes to listen to his music
- Award: Received “Environmental Dimdol Award” (환경딤돌상) in 2023
Visit Information
- Location: Yeouido Hangang Park, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
- Section: Near Yeouinaru Station area of the park
- Access:
- Yeouinaru Station (Line 5) Exit 3, 5-minute walk
- Enter Hangang Park and look for forest section with plaques
- Hours: Open 24 hours (outdoor park area)
Tips
- Best visited during spring (cherry blossoms nearby) or autumn (colorful foliage)
- Bring headphones to scan QR codes and listen to Jin’s music
- Combine with a walk along the Han River bike path
- Nearby: National Assembly Building, 63 Square, IFC Mall, The Hyundai Seoul
