Gwangchigi Beach is a beautiful beach on the eastern coast of Jeju Island, located in Goseong-ri, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si.
It is famous as the only beach with a view of Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) across the sea, and is particularly famous for its stunning sunrises.

Gwangchigi Beach is a mix of black sand and pebbles, and the tidal fluctuations expose underwater lava rocks, adding to the exotic scenery.
Near the beach are small seafood restaurants and cafes, perfect for a meal or a relaxing break.
