하늘공원
Haneul Park is an ecological park located within World Cup Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It was built on the former Nanjido landfill site, renovated to create an eco-friendly space. True to its name, “Sky,” the park sits atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Seoul, the Han River, and Bukhansan Mountain. It features 22 observation decks and walking trails.
A key attraction is the silvery silver grass fields in autumn, and the Seoul Silver Grass Festival, held every October, attracts many visitors. Visitors can enjoy a variety of plants and beautiful scenery, including flower paths, firefly paths, and sunflower paths. Pavilions and rest areas are also available for resting during strolls. The park is well-equipped with ramps and amenities for people with disabilities and strollers. Its convenient location, approximately a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of World Cup Stadium Station, makes it easily accessible.
Operating hours vary depending on the time of sunset each month, but the park is generally open from 9:00 AM to sunset, and admission is free.
