A 1.08km stretch in Gangnam’s upscale Apgujeong area featuring life-size bear statues (“GangnamDols”) representing popular K-pop groups, including BTS.
About K-Star Road
Urban branding project celebrating Korea’s Hallyu Wave, connecting Apgujeong Rodeo Station to Cheongdam Crossroads. The road took 2 years to complete and features 18 GangnamDol sculptures – one 3m tall PSY statue and 17 human-scale (1.5m) bear dolls representing K-pop groups.
“GangnamDol” Name: Compound word combining “Gangnam” + “Idol” + “Doll”

- Special Feature: Some GangnamDols have authentic signatures from group members on the back
